State subsidies of 106.6 million euros for biomass, biogas and geothermal energy

Recently, the Romanian Government issued a Government Decision granting state subsidies of 100.6 million Euro for the next four years to renewable energy companies.
 
The total budget of 100.6 million Euro representing 85% non-reimbursable funds from the European Regional Development Fund, respectively 15% representing public co-financing funds provided from the state budget, through the budget of the Regional Development Ministry, Public Administration and European Funds.
 
 
Will benefit of these funds electricity producers, thermal energy companies and administrative / territorial units / intra-community development associations.
 
 
Are financed the following types of investments:
 
  • The realization and / or upgrading the production capacities of electric and / or thermal energy from biomass and biogas;
  • Making and / or upgrading the production capacity of thermal energy from geothermal water.
